    The installation (obtaining and compiling the source code) is NCI specific. The NCAR guides which we link to give instructions for compilation. DO NOT USE THOSE INSTRUCTIONS. They will not work. First, install WRF using this wiki's instructions and only follow the NCAR guides for running your simulation.

    Foreword
    This document is intended to serve as a handy reference for new users in building and running the WRF and WPS on the RAIJIN cluster at NCI without the need of making site-specific modifications to WRF and WPS.
    This document is only valid for version 4.0.2 of WRF and later. Please refer to the older version pages for other instructions.

    The source code ported to Raijin can be found both under /projects/WRF/WRFV_4.0.2 and on Github: https://github.com/coecms/WRF
    Clone the WRF Github repository (using HTTPS or SSH protocol depending on your setup) to your own space under /short:

    git clone -b V4.0.2 https://github.com/coecms/WRF.git

    Communication from NCI for planned switchover to new CMIP community website:
    The CMIP Community website has been refreshed for CMIP6 and NCI is ready to reveal the changes. The planned switchover date is 22nd November.

    NCI will continue to update and add information to this website so your feedback will help them keep this up to date as a useful community resource.
    Further emails about preparation for CMIP6 will follow in the coming weeks to current ua6 members, but feel free to contact them if you have any questions.

    The information for CMIP data is now available from the NCI CMIP community space
    You will find there:

    how to access the dataset

    This is a "community" resource so you can help in making it more useful by adding comments and feedback.
    The CMIP Community website has been refreshed for CMIP6 and NCI is ready to reveal the changes. The planned switchover date is 22nd November.
    What will change?
    The website https://opus.nci.org.au/display/CMIP/CMIP+Community+Home will be updated
    If you have used bookmarks to access pages within that space, you will need to update to the new area.
    If you can’t find what you’re looking for then just email help@nci.org.au and they will get back to you.
    Note that you’ll still need to be logged in with your NCI credentials to access the full content available.
    Features of the new site include the latest updates on CMIP6 and information on tools you can use to search variables and how to check what’s in the queue for download on our NCI ESGF service.
    NCI will continue to update and add information to this website so your feedback will help them keep this up to date as a useful community resource.
